The Ziggurat Group has limited in-person counseling and assessment services during this time in order to help maintain safety for the public and our staff. In addition to the standard consent form, a new Telehealth Consent form must be completed and returned via online portal, email, fax, or mail.

The Ziggurat Group offers evaluation and intervention services to support healthy development, education, and personal growth. Assessment and counseling services are offered for individuals of all ages. Please read below for more information about our services.
The Ziggurat Group provides counseling services for individuals of all ages. Counseling services are solution-focused and may be provided in an individual, group, and/or family format. Specialized counseling services are provided to meet the unique needs of individuals with ASD.
Consultation services are provided by a licensed psychologist and/or our highly experienced staff. Services include assistance with parenting, teaching social skills at home, and attendance at ARD meetings or other meetings with school staff.
The Ziggurat Group specializes in assessment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We evaluate both children and adults. The group utilizes a transdisciplinary model. The assessment team consists of members who may include a licensed psychologist, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and an educational diagnostician. Using a team is state-of-the-art. Psychological assessment of children and adolescents is an additional specialty of the Ziggurat Group. Assessments are conducted by a licensed psychologist. The purpose of psychological assessment is to determine whether there are significant emotional and/or attentional factors that impact the individual. Psychological assessment is also used to make diagnoses of common childhood disorders including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety and depression.
Intellectual and Educational Assessment
Assessment of intelligence and academic achievement is available through The Ziggurat Group. Educational Diagnosticians, who specialize in assessment of educational concerns, conduct these evaluations. Staff utilize state-of-the-art techniques, including a cross-battery approach, to develop a profile of strengths and needs.
Speech and Language Assessment
Speech and language assessments are conducted by a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) who has earned the American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). The SLPs at the Ziggurat group are experienced in providing comprehensive assessment in the following areas: Receptive and Expressive Language; Articulation; Pragmatic Language; Pre-Verbal Language. At The Ziggurat Group, the SLP plays an active role on the Autism evaluation team; providing support for diagnosis as well as interventions. The SLPs at The Ziggurat Group are trained in the Ziggurat Model and are active in parent training, professional trainings as well as training school district employees in Texas and across the country. Full assessment as well as consultative services are provided.
Sensory and Motor Assessment
Sensory and motor assessments are conducted by our expert Occupational Therapists. Reports provide practical solutions that help individuals function well across settings.
